Well Vika has been gone for 3 days and it feels like an eternity!!!  Her leaving Saturday was the worse pain that we had felt as a family.  She begged and didn't won't to leave but she had no choice and neither did we but to send her back.  We know that God led us to host her for the summer and we were obedient and did just what we knew God told us to do.  One thing that we didn't know was that we were going to fall in love with a precious, brown eyed, curly headed little girl.  We didn't plan for her to steal our hearts and bond with our family.  We didn't plan for her to beg to stay with us.  We didn't plan for her to love us.  God had a perfect plan for her and us even though we thought we were just being obedient.  God knew exactly what He was doing and He still does.  It is difficult to get through the days without flooding with tears, but we are claiming God's peace for us and protection for Vika while away from us.  I really don't have a lot of information that I can share with everyone at this point but we do have are some prayer request-Pray for Vika to have a peace where she is and for her protection, pray for us as we miss her dearly, and pray as we begin the next stage of Vika's future with us. So many of you have called, texts and checked on us--Thank You!!!!   We feel your love and prayers that you have sent our way.  Even though it has been painful for our family the last few days, we Thank God for choosing us to host Vika and we are at peace with whatever He wants us to step out and do.  We love you all and Thank You for praying for and with us.

It's just a glitch!!!

I need all of my prayer warriors to pray for the host children from Ukraine.  There has been a glitch in computers worldwide that is causing our host children a delay in their arrival.  God is in control and knew about this glitch before it happened.  We ask that you pray with us about this situation and that our host children can get on their flights soon!!!  We can't wait to meet our V and I know others can't either.

Faith...Believing and knowing God will!!!!

I am almost speechless at this point-----But I can't be because God has provided and I must share!!!  We are fully funded for "V"!!!  As May 1st was approaching, it has caused me to pray without ceasing today.  We knew that God would provide in His timing and not ours.  When we were ready to start doubting, God once again showed up (at 9:03 tonight to be exact--well actually all the time)!!!  Our hearts are full of praise to our Heavenly Father.  We are still amazed of the people that have donated and prayed for us during this time.  We stepped out in Faith once again and God carried us all the way through.  We still don't know what will happen once after hosting but what we do know is that God provided for "V" to be loved on for the summer weeks.  Thank you to everyone that has donated and prayed for us during this time.  Please continue to pray for our family and whatever the future holds.  We give God all glory and praise for paving the way and for allowing you all to join us on this journey.  Thank You!  Thank You!

Sweet Reminder!!

 

 

This is just a sweet reminder that in 2 months a sweet little girl will be coming to visit with us and we will be able to love on her while she is here!!!

Deadlines! Deadlines!

We found out today that our final payment to host "V" is due by May 1st!!!!  Oh my!!! Oh my!!!  We know that our God can do anything and we know that He will.  If you have been praying about how you can help us in hosting "V"...here is away!!!!  We are still in need of $1,700!!!  This fee includes her visa, passport and plane tickets.  If you would like to make a tax deductible donation please make it to www.heartforhosting.com  make sure that our names Kirk and Sherrie Albritton are on it.  We THANK YOU ahead of time!!!!

We almost can't wait to meet "V"--July seems so long from now but guess what?   It is just around the corner!!! Yikes!!!!  We have a small amount of paperwork to do and get ready to turn in for her to come.  We also are so thrilled about how God is paving the way for her visiting.  So many of you have asked about how you can help us.  First and foremost please pray for our family as this transition is made in our life and pray for our children as they share their mom and dad.  Secondly, we still need to raise $2,000.00 in order to complete the financial obligation to bring "V" here for the summer.  We also know that our God can do anything!!!  We are so glad that God is allowing you to be on this journey with us.
